Truman Ranked 12th in the Nation by Kiplinger's Finance Magazine
Kiplinger’s Finance Magazine has released their list of the top 100 Best Values in Public Colleges and Truman ranks No. 12 in the nation.
This report features schools that deliver a high-quality education at an affordable price. Truman is the highest-rated Missouri school on Kiplinger's list and was the only university in the state to be included in the top 50. Truman is also ranked 9th in the nation for best out-of-state value and is highlighted on the website at www.kiplinger.com/slideshow/college/T014-S003-best-public-colleges-for-out-of-state-students/index.html.
The annual public school rankings will appear in Kiplinger's February 2014 magazine and will be available at newsstands Dec. 31. Web visitors will find special features, including information about how the public colleges are ranked and a tool that lets reader’s sort by in-state and out-of-state cost, average debt at graduation, and admission rate. Kiplinger’s ranks schools based upon measures of academic quality and affordability. Schools are sorted based on quality measures such as the admission rate, the test scores of incoming freshmen, and four- and six-year graduation rates as well as cost data which includes tuition, fees, room and board, and financial aid for in-state and out-of-state students.
